It’s Not The Victims’ Fault

It’s Friday morning, and I should be ecstatic because it’s my last workday, but I saw this mass murderer’s reason, and my blood boils.

It’s not the victims’ fault you fetishize their race, our race.

It’s not the victims’ fault you fell into sex addiction.

It’s not the victims’ fault sex workers needed a job.

It’s not the victims’ fault that sex workers weren’t presented with a choice.

It’s not the victims’ fault that sex workers had to commodify their oppression.

It’s not the victims’ fault Asian women are often portrayed as docile, submissive beings, which oddly translates to you as sexual.

It’s not the victims’ fault their jobs involve physical contact.

It’s not the victims’ fault that you never learned how to control your urges.

It’s not the victims’ fault that your church’s constricting beliefs led you into a ravenous asshole.

It’s not the victims’ fault you never saw Asian women as people — as equals.

It’s not the victims’ fault patriarchy liked jacking off of minorities at their most vulnerable state.

It’s not the victims’ fault Asian women’s bodies were capitalized and marketed for your pleasure.

It’s not the victims’ fault you wanted to eliminate these “temptations” to “help” others with sexual addictions.

It’s not the victims’ fault that you never knew your race fetishization is racism and one thing to get rid of it was to purge the race from a fantasy that exists only within you.

I can list more reasons why it’s not their fault. You are not God. You don’t get to take lives because you feel tempted. You are not doing anyone a favor. You are not a victim. You’re a murderer who was set on his intentions. Taking responsibility doesn’t cut it. Not even close.
